Hot Water Music
Tight, precise guitar work and intense vocals helped to make Florida's Hot Water Music one of the most respected bands on the '90s post-hardcore scene. Formed in 1994, the band's intricate musicianship — which hewed towards mathcore — won them a devoted fanbase, which they maintained through a near-constant array of studio and live albums, singles, and EPs. Such a relentless schedule led to schisms within Hot Water Music, who called it quits twice while singer Chuck Ragan and his bandmates pursued other efforts. The splits proved short-lived, and the band continues to record, tour, and inspire.
